Obituary of Leo F Keehan

On Tuesday, January 15, 2019, Leo F. Keehan, loving Father of two Children and Grandfather to 5 Grandchildren, passed away at the age of 89 at Norwalk Hospital.

Leo was born on June 21,1929 in Westport, CT to Leo and Isabelle Keehan and was a lifelong Westport resident. He grew up with three Sisters, Delores, Rita, Mary Jane and one Brother Edward. He owned and managed transportation businesses in Westport including Teddy’s Limousine. He sold his businesses in his early 50’s and retired, which only lasted a year.Overcome with boredom, he returned to the industry he loved and eventually retired in his late 70’s. Leo served his Country during the Korean War and was stationed for two years in Germanyand was honorably discharged. Leo spent his retirement years loving his five Grandchildren who all live close by in Fairfield County. He was an avid reader, sports fan and a true New England Yankee at heart.    

Leo’s survivors include his Sons, Scott J. Keehan and Kyle T. Keehan of Westport, CT, five Grandchildren, Corey, Devon, Briana, Jack and Andrew and many Nieces and Nephews. 

A celebration of Leo’s life will be held on Friday morning January 25, 2019 at St Thomas Aquinas Parish, 1719 Post Road, Fairfield beginning at 10am. In lieu of flowers, celebrate Leo’s life by donating to the Wounded Warrior Project atwww.woundedwarriorproject.org.
